Awni Broughton is the Chair of Community Financial Fund and is a 4th year Economics and Accounting major.

Before serving as Chair, Awni was the Networking Officer of CFF, leading events that aimed to expand financial literacy across campus in niche zones like tax, travel, and investing. Her favorite event last year was hosting influencer and blogger, Nomadic Matt, who brought realistic and money savy tips for traveling on a student budget.

In addition to serving on the board of CFF, she is also President of Girl Gains, a weightlifting club for women that aims to empower through movement.

She has also completed the Strategic Investment Program through the PACE Extension at UCSB, where she got hands-on experience on topics like fixed income and M&A.

A fun fact about Awni is that she was born in Kazakhstan.
