Awni Broughton assumes the Chair on September 1, 2025

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Awni Broughton, who had served as the Networking Officer for the Community Financial Fund (CFF), will lead the CFF Board in the upcoming academic year. Broughton, a rising Economics & Accounting fourth-year undergraduate, will steer the organization’s mission of delivering financial literacy services and events for UCSB undergraduates.

In addition to her service to CFF and Associated Students, Broughton also serves and will continue to serve as Co-President for Girl Gains, a student-led campus organization which promotes female empowerment and engagement within the historically male-dominated field of weightlifting.
